Amanda Mason

With a rare blend of investment, fundraising experience and design expertise, after seven years at RockBridge Capital and Locus Development (across investment, development, investor relations and asset management) Michigan native Amanda Mason launched a consultancy focused on brand analysis, financing and investment consulting for real estate investment firms. Her specialty lies is in combining investment experience with an eye for design and messaging, to convey the true value proposition of an opportunity to investors. Currently she is the Design Director at Belgravia Group.

Robert Kelly

After nearly a decade in institutional real estate for companies as renowned as Carlyle (VP, Fund Asset Mgmt.), Wachovia (VP, Head of Equity Asset Mgmt.), and PRP (Dir. of Asset Mgmt.), Robert launched KB Advisors, a real estate and capital advisory consultancy. Based in DC, he provides advisory services to owners across buy/sell decisions, capital sourcing strategies, staffing reviews, general asset management and more.

Jose Nunez

A Wharton MBA with a background in finance, Jose has worked for Wells Fargo, Citigroup, and GoldOller among others, with a career focus on acquisitions due diligence for multifamily properties in New York, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia. His passion lies in rolling up his sleeves to understand the moving parts of a deal, from legal document review to the development and analysis of complex financial models and projections, to determine the true potential for an investment.

Peter Horn

A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, Peter is currently a Senior Associate at Soma Capital Partners, a real estate private equity sponsor in San Francisco. He previously worked as an analyst at Morgan Keegan in investment banking, and as the lead investment analyst at Simpson Housing, a multifamily owner/operator. Currently his responsibilities include financial analysis, due diligence, asset management and investor relations for Soma Capital’s opportunistic strategy targeting all property types across the Western U.S., as well as providing independent acquisition consulting services to clients ranging from first-time investors to major institutional firms.

Johanna Kiev

As Director of Asset Management at Rockwood Capital, Johanna carried tremendous responsibility, managing a diverse portfolio across office, residential, retail and land development deals. She oversaw acquisitions DD, asset management and internal reporting, and previously worked at both Emmes & Company and at Morgan Stanley. She has an institutional understanding of operating procedures required to efficiently and effectively drive value creation through asset management across a portfolio at the property level.

Financial Analysis & UW

Cristina Castellano

With her bachelor's degree from Harvard and MBA from Wharton, Cristina built upon a successful early investment banking and private equity career on Wall Street (including Deutsche Bank and UBS) to develop deep financial analysis skills before returning to her hometown of Miami, where she leverages her brokerage license as Director of Castle Capital Group, a developer of ultra high end homes in the Miami area.

Jessie Lee

A full-time independent consultant, Wharton MBA Jessie has a decade of finance experience, and was recently an Associate Director at UBS. While at UBS she built real estate financial models to evaluate secured and unsecured debt, acquisitions of single assets, portfolios and public companies, and equity offerings. As lead associate for the credit underwriting, financial modeling and credit committee discussions, she managed financial DD through multiple rounds with senior management, and reviewed hundreds of files to audit property cash-flows and prepare financial roll-ups.

Charles Schilke

A senior real estate, infrastructure, financial, legal, and university educational professional with in-depth experience in major corporations, law firms, nonprofits, and universities, Charles is currently the Director of The Edward St. John Real Estate Program at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Previously, he has been Associate Dean of Real Estate at Georgetown, Real Estate Senior Counsel at The American Red Cross, and has consulted for numerous companies worldwide.

Dror Poleg

With his degree from LSE, Dror has served as Media Advisor to the Australian Parliament, CoFounder of the Israel Chamber of Commerce in China, and owner of an early newsletter tracking Chinese Retail, e-Commerce, and Consumer Behavior. While leading Business Development for Kardan Land (a pioneering Beijing Developer) he negotiated both land and tenant deals, bringing international shopping and lifestyle to China's emerging cities, participating in over 30 million sqft of commercial and residential property across China in a decade. Thereafter he founded a tech startup, and now spends his time consulting to real estate companies responding to technological change.
